Our territory extends for a length of about 20 km of coast, starting from the Gulf of Monte Cofano, passing through that of Makari, arriving in San Vito Lo Capo and up to the Zingaro Natural Park. The route is full of sandy beaches, mixed or pebbles, bays and hidden coves overlooking the crystal clear sea.

Tonnara del Secco, Zingaro Natural Park and Scopello

 

Just 3 km from San Vito we find the Tonnara del Secco, a cult of tuna fishing, elected by the Fai "Place of the heart" in Sicily. Continuing on, you get to the Zingaro Natural Park with beaches, paths, coves, refuges, museums and caves, a natural paradise for swimming, walking and bird watching.

Don't miss Scopello and the Faraglioni beach, to be reached by land or by sea.

St. Margherita Beach and 

Natural Park Monte Cofano

 

Natural cove between San Vito Lo Capo and Monte Cofano, Santa Margherita Beach has splendid sandy bays and coves nestled between mountain ridges where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets.

The Natural Park Monte Cofano extends from Castelluzzo (fraction of San Vito Lo Capo) to the Bay of Cornino (fraction of Custonaci), enclosing the famous coves of Frassino and Tuono, the Torre di Cofano and the Mangiapane Cave which houses a small village of houses where the ancient crafts are still preserved.

Egadi:islands Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo

 

Archipelago 7 km from the Sicilian coast, made up of the major islands of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, set among splendid crystal clear waters rich in flora and fauna.

The Tonnara di Favignana, ex Florio Factory, preserves the equipment, anchors and boats of the mattanza slaughter.

The Grotta del Genovese in Levanzo houses paintings and paleolithic rock engravings.

Marettimo is the wildest and most uncontaminated of the Egadi Islands.

Erice, Trapani, Marsala, Segesta, Palermo and Agrigento

Erice, an ancient medieval village at 715 meters high, to be reached by car or cable car, retains its ancient charm enriched by breathtaking landscapes up to the Egadi Islands.

Oriented Nature Reserve Saline (saltpans) of Trapani and Paceco, Mozia and Marsala, where the ancient activity of salt extraction is practiced.

The Archaeological Park of Segesta preserves traces of history with its ancient theater and Doric temple.

Around Palermo and Monreale to discover the history and monuments of the Arab-Norman period.

The Scala dei Turchi in Agrigento - a fascinating rocky cliff that rises above the sea.
